Most people already have a fixed believe about network marketing (direct sales or multilevel marketing). It is the over zealous sales people trying to pitch their products to you or convincing you to join their business opportunity. In this blog, I will expand on 10 tips in which you can follow to be a network marketing success story.

Even though I am a social media manager/ digital marketer, I have worked with several network marketers who are struggling to grow and promote their business online. Writing this blog is as a result of the success I have had with some of them who requested my services to expand their brand online.

1. Prospecting And Promoting


This is the first stage in any network marketing success. When rightly done, you will be in a better place to kick-start your business. Spend most of your time on prospecting, presenting, following up and signing up new people. As your network grows, you can invest more time in training and support. But never stop prospecting or your business will die.

2. Choosing The Right Social Media Platform

This is a controversial topic because most people will ask: How do I know the best platform for my business? This requires that you do research on your niche to find the best social media platform for your network marketing business.

3. Generating/ Connecting With Your Leads

Calling or organizing a chat session with your Leads is a good way of finding out their problems. Determine how you can offer solutions to their problems. This is of course in relationship to your products and services and consistently engaging with them.

You can then pitch your products or business opportunity to them after this. People will join you when they realize that you a genuinely interested in them, and not just a casual relationship to promote your business. Don’t forget to follow-up with them after they have become business partners or customers. This helps to build a solid business relationship.

5. Organising Webinars

6. Be Consistently Persistent

Most network marketers give up too early. They expect to make millions in their first months, and when they don’t, they quit. But it takes some time and effort to build an MLM business.

I always teach this to all network marketers who have consulted with me. Self-branding is of uttermost importance to any network marketing success.You want your prospects to recognize your brand and not the network marketing company you represent. 8. Write A Blog

The online marketing world is changing, and we all have to follow the trend to succeed. I understand how some people feel about this. I felt the same way too but finally decided to start blogging. Blogging is the best way to create awareness and grow your business online.

One of the main differences I see in those who fail vs. those who succeed is their level of work. Most people who’ve failed treated their MLM businesses like a hobby, working whenever they had some spare time. The top income earners, on the other hand, work at their businesses every day.

Learning is a continuous process. Educating and acquiring more skills in your niche is very rewarding. You should read more network marketing books and articles related to your niche and get more knowledge and expertise. This will broaden your knowledge and keep you in pace with the right information and mindset required for your network marketing success.
